Ciao Guido, la foto non mi convince per alcuni motivi 
- il soggetto è decisamente centrale, la compo è da rivedere
- poco dettaglio nel soggetto, sembra tutto impastato
- posatoio troppo grosso rispetto al soggetto, ma qui ci si può far poco

Come Fabio1980,
la prima impressione è che il soggetto si perda nella foto ... cio' è dovuto in parte al posatoio, in parte allo sfondo... in questi casi o si stringe sul picchio oppure lo si inserisce in un contesto ambientato in cui ci siano vari elementi (rametti, muschi, frutti) a dare equilibrio.

Grazie a tt delle opinioni.
La foto è reale e nn un fotomontaggio.
Il posatoio per catturare un picchio muratore nn si può micca scegliere più di tanto,e poi a me piaceva lo sfondo colorato dall'autunno.Non amo l'uso eccessivo dello strumento di contrasto.
I gusti sono diversi...
