Successivamente anche i corrieri postali ricorrevano (e ricorrono) alle slitte trainate da cani per spostarsi da una parte all'altra del Grande Nord. Curiosità: Nel 1973, l'esploratore americano Joe Redington organizzò la prima gara su neve storica "Iditarod". Tutta la serie è molto bella! I cani ripresi nello sforzo donano alle foto un dinamismo unico.
Anch'io, come altri, non sapevo di questo sport..Mi viene in mente invece di un signore che correndo in bici facendosi trainare dal suo cane è stato denunciato da una signora per crudeltà nei confronti dell'animale..forse lui si allenava e lei non sapeva, come me.
