Ciao Franco,
quello che mi manca, quello che non sento più è l'odore delle traversine di quercia. Un odore che
mi è rimasto nel cervello perché sino a 18 anni ho vissuto in ambito ferroviario...mio padre era fer-
roviere. Adesso invece le traversine di legno sono state sostituite con quelle in cemento senza odori
e senza storia mentre al posto delle "nostre" meravigliose vaporiere vediamo sfrecciare super treni
anonimi, freddi e senza anima.
Una locomotiva a vapore è si una macchina, ma con caratteristiche più "umane": ha bisogno di cure
amorevoli (ricordo i gesti e l'amore quasi materno del personale di macchina), bisogna alimentarla,
lubrificare le parti rotanti, sbuffa, soffia, ansima...insomma...mi affascina.
Franco scusa il mio divagare, ma certi ricordi ti segnano l'esistenza.
