Reality cracked sent on November 11, 2013 (12:14) by Andrynoce. 4 comments, 1175 views.

at 17mm, 1/30 f/8.0, ISO 5000, hand held.

Barbara

Hello Andrea. To see him like this, this shot, does not represent me or cracked the reality of the human soul. What is missing, in my humble opinion, a strong human element, which was not to be necessarily a person, but an element strongly connected to it (such as a broken or battered old doll, clothes tattered, battered slippers or shoes, a imprint of hand on broken glass, a significant written or something) that could provide a more direct link with the human condition.
Perhaps the limit is mine, do not argue, but I see only broken glass, combined with an abandoned and disused.
As for the shot itself, have taken up the environment in the correct way, the color change in b / w and the shades closed just enough to not make them completely unreadable, give a sense of darkness and incertezza.
A warm greeting.
Barbara

Comment as per # 2548935] topic
The degradation here is what I see in this shot. The loss of the role, meaning and dignity. A whole series of causal links of a crisis, but the crisis itself in its essence. The theme you're trying to portray is very challenging, especially has a very personal connotation and could be seen in a hundred different ways without having a hundred subjects objectivity. However, the shot is beautiful and leads to ideas of multiple reflections close to your idea-generating and very interesting, but not collimating. A greeting.

Federico

In response to the thread [URL =] www.juzaphoto.com/topic2.php?l=it&t=583305&show=12

Looking at the shot I take a sense of unease, rather than distorted reality, something that is not as would be irrimidiabilmente and that is different from what I expected.
The look that filters through the cracked glass rests on a segmented reality, not harmonic, also toning accentuates the sense the sense of unease that you wanted to be, but also of desolation and resignation, as if the image we give back the message that what was never returns.
According to the intention and you did not think that the human presence would have enhanced the photo.
Greetings
Federico
