Ciao Stefano,purtroppo questo e un paese fantasma,nato nei primi anni 60,come città per i divertimenti con Hotel di lusso,un infinita serie di negozi ect. Poi una serie di frane distrussero la strada principale,e da qui il declino,e in fine il degrado più totale,spero con il tempo poter postare altri scatti. Hello Stephen, unfortunately this is a ghost town, was born in the early 60s, as a city for leisure with luxury hotels, an infinite number of shops ect. Then a series of landslides destroyed the main road, and hence the decline, and in the end the total decay with time I hope you can post more shots. Ci piace tantissimo il gioco di luci ed ombre perché la "finestra" valorizza lo sguardo del murales che sembra sbirciare incuriosito verso l' osservatore, mentre la parte in penombra risulta leggibile quel tanto che basta ad evocare il mistero di quel luogo ormai abbandonato...

We really love the play of light and shadows because the "window" enhances the look of the mural that seems curious peek into the 'observer, while the twilight is readable just enough to evoke the mystery of that place now abandoned .. .

Bello il B/N,ma anche quelle a colori hanno la loro forza.E' anche bello vedere che non viene dimenticato questo desolato posto,ex paradiso(A Consonno è sempre festa,era il motto),ora spettrale ammasso di varie follie umane,non ultima quella che gli diede il colpo di gazia con il Rave party.

Conosco Consonno dai primi anni 70,poi l'ho frequentato per tre anni,dal 96 al 99 avendo lì ricoverato un parente nella struttura ospitata nell'ex-albergo,dove una mia cugina vi fece il pranzo di nozze,e vederlo martoriato così mi fa male.Speriamo,ora che è in vendita,possa almeno ripresentarsi decorosamente,ma non mi faccio troppe illusioni.
