C'è un bellissimo libro di Eberhard Neubronner che si intitola "La Valle Nera".
Parla delle "Genti del Piemonte", come le chiama lui.
Esattamente la zona interessata dai suoi racconti è quella che va da Riva Valdobbia a Peccia, con qualche scollinamento a Gressoney.
Beh, guardando questa foto, mi vengono in mente le descrizioni fatte di quelle genti.
Di quelle genti che mi rimandano indietro alla mia fanciullezza.
Se non lo conosci quel libro, te lo consiglio.

There is a wonderful book by Eberhard Neubronner which is titled "The Black Valley".
He speaks of the "People of the Piedmont," as he calls it.
Exactly the area affected by his stories is the one that goes from Riva Valdobbia in Peccia, with some brow in Gressoney.
Well, looking at this picture, I think of the descriptions made by those people.
Of those people who remind me back to my childhood.
If you do not know that book, I recommend it.
