Dopo gli amadriadi ( Papio hamadryas ) che ho inseguito a lungo.... tra un mese spero di realizzare un altro sogno riuscendo a fotografare i mandrilli in natura.... I maschi degli amadriadi raggiungono quasi il metro d' altezza ed un peso di una ventina di chili e la caratteristica più spettacolare è il folto mantello bianco-grigiastro con una vera e propria criniera sul collo e sulle spalle che arriva al bacino e che li fa apparire più grandi e minacciosi di quanto in realtà siano. Sono primati sempre in movimento e poco socievoli che si lasciano avvicinare poco facilmente ed i maschi spesso manifestano tutta la loro aggressività. Etiopia
