Concordo con Enrico, forse a 100 iso e senza il polla che chiude ancora di più le ombre avresti avuto più controllo sulle luci ma in questi casi per me la soluzione migliore è la doppia.
Comunque gran bella immagine mi piacciono molto la composizione e la resa del mare oltre naturalmente alla location resa ancor più bella dai colori di quo tramonto spettacolare.

I agree with Henry, perhaps 100 iso and without the fowl that closes even more shadows you'd have more control over the lights but in these cases the best solution for me is the double.
However most beautiful picture I like very much the composition and yield of the sea and of course the location is made even more beautiful by the colors of quo spectacular sunset.

In genere faccio doppia esposizione in questi casi. Ho voluto fare una sorte di esperimento. Si vocifera che il sensore della 5DIII dia il meglio di se a 160/200 ISO in quanto a gamma dinamica. Volevo testare la tenuta delle luci e delle ombre in un singolo scatto. Mi ha fatto piacere notare che non vi è presenza di artefatti (banding su tutti) nelle zone d'ombra mentre le alte luci le ho pelate. Senza pola e con una doppia non avrei avuto questo problema ed il cielo sarebbe stato perfetto...

I generally double exposure in these cases. I wanted to make a sort of experiment. It is rumored that the sensor 5DIII give the best of itself to 160/200 ISO in terms of dynamic range. I wanted to test the tightness of the lights and shadows in a single click. I was pleased to note that there is the presence of artifacts (banding at all) in the shadow areas and the highlights I've peeled. Without knob and with a double I would not have had this problem and the sky would be perfect ...

Anch'io non userei il polarizzatore in un controluce così (aumenta il contrasto che è già alto di suo), in ogni caso è una bellissima foto per location, composizione, atmosfera e soprattutto per il movimento del mare.
