1/30 f/3.2, ISO 160, Kolmanskop, Namibia.

Kolmanskop.

Ciao, Paolo

Dramatically beautiful! ;-)
I really like the composition and point shooting! :-P
Perhaps, if possible, I would try to "burn" a bit less the background, behind the door!
A beautiful picture that, however, I like! :-P

Hai perfettamente ragione, è bruciatissimo e non so come rimediare.
Buona serata Sorriso

Thank you very much Paul, I have never received so fast a comment :-)
You're absolutely right, it is bruciatissimo and do not know how to fix it. As I have written are aware of the major flaws of this shot, but for me it was an unforgettable place.
Good evening :-)

I agree in the middle 'with Paul. Bel point shooting and nice cut that highlight the wave of sand that simply returns where and 'been for thousands of years ...... I do not think however, very important, in the picture of this type, the attention to levels, points of light etc. ..... In this case the strong glow I do not mind at all and gives a good idea of ??the dazzling light of the desert. Brava, this complete successfully the other image ........ ;-) :-)
In two photos only praise ....... I start to worry:-D:-D

Buona giornata

PS: il sole quel giorno era veramente accecante...

Alexander, you're getting too good too ... cmq thank you very much:-D:-D:-D
And do not worry, you're sure to criticize as it should be my next shots (it seems to me became so difficult to choose photos up to this forum ...)
Have a nice day

PS: the sun that day was really blinding ...

Very beautiful and evocative as regards the light is not 'relevant to the' good result

Ciao.

Beautiful story of a particular situation, in this case I do not think the lights burned too important, I would rather correct the chromatic aberazioni very obvious on cotorni the window ;-)

Brie, Andrea Giani, Catherine ... thank you very much!

@ Catherine: those damn aberrations ... it seemed strange that not infastidissero anyone! Do not have escaped your expert eye ;-) The problem is that I have not the faintest idea how to make them disappear: suggestions?
it is really time to study some photo editing program, I can not keep doing pp "-thumb" :-|

In DPP when you're in edit mode photo has four buttons at the top, the ultimate goal is, clicking it opens a window where you will find the button for the elimination of chromatic aberration, the first time you use it may be necessary download profiles for your lenses.

Grazie ancora!

Thank you very much for the tip Catherine, I feel tomorrow!
I noticed that you have entered incorrect data trigger: I made the picture with compact camera, not the camera (I did not have the wide angle), now I correct :-|
Thank you again!

Catherine, your instructions I have opened a new world! The intervention was not totally conclusive (but the case here is serious ;-)) cm ² function that I've reported it helps me a lot: I guess it's well known to all users of this forum ... but have a little 'patience, I am a Pivellina:-D

ciao Cristina,

ciao
Flavio

Hello Cristina,
a solid wave of fear ...
beautiful but dramatic revenge of nature on man and his works are not always well-researched and engineered
