in this photo, apart from the Iso elevatiwow! as you mentioned and the obvious slope, I tried to lower the frame so as to eliminate a good portion of the sky (washed out and too uniform:-D) and inserting consequently a greater portion of the ridge that now can be seen only and that you would ensure (in my opinion :-)) a good foreground and a good closing down of the image ;-) Take these directions with the tongs:-D as it is simply what I would have done in your place ;-)
However, you can fix many of these things in PP ;-) (Iso and insertion of the ridge in part:-D) maybe "playing" a bit with the contrast a little to revive the all :-)
However, I understand that you're a great walker (although I failed to recognize theLACE :-() and this, for those who do landscape photos in the mountains is already a great place to start! ;-)
