an ugliness unwatchable (not a photograph but that purple ball that put exclusively to deface the basin of San Marco) ...

If a work of art is an ugliness unwatchable ... everyone is free to express, I personally do not judge the work of the artist Marc Quinn a monumental ugliness unwatchable, which is an unusual sculpture yes. We should know what is this work, which was defined as a painful symbolic power.
Then it was placed near the Basilica of St. George, this inflatable version (the original is in Trafalgar Square) only to welcome visitors to the exhibition of Marc Quinn at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
For me, the ugliness that disfigure the basin of San Marco and Venice are other ... certainly not L 'ART ...

Gabriele

Artwork that??: Fconfuso ... "works of art" so were the facilities around Padua Isabella Facco (before the neturbini mistook for bringing well-sweepings 2 of his works in the landfill! ) ...
pultroppo not enough to close a bidet in a display case and will expose the british museum to turn it into a work of art ... if the inflatable Marc Quinn instead of on the island of San Giorgio was placed in a rural village, uncomfortable to reach as many people would go to watch it?: fconfuso: ... and if in the countryside village we had been put Michelangelo's David or the Deposition of Christ by Caravaggio? ... well in this case I'd be there! .. .

St. George has a harmony and balance that you can not alter abruptly like that ... the giant woman hiding part of the facade of St. George, and I see this as an oveay ...

"" That work of art "" has been positioned them solely and exclusively for business advertising and then .... this is not art!

ps another is true for the work in its first version, the life-size marble

a greeting,
Gabriele

Eugenio

Mizzica .... you are a great art critic who can not even Sgarbi there with you:-P ... I'm sorry if I say it, a critique that is a bit childish ...
listen ... to me I care less, I do not know here to criticize a work of art or junk ... if my photo makes you sick ... you do not like switching back ...
I will repeat it for me ... the bad things that spoil the basin of San Marco and Venice are other ...
a greeting
Eugenio

ciao,
Gabriele

you're a great art critic who can not even Sgarbi there with you

so embarrass me :-| ... however there is no need to be critical to judge a work of art, as well as not have to be electricians to change a lightbulb ;-)

I'm sorry if I say it, a critique that is a bit childish ...

I do not understand why it should be infantilewow! ... I think it's more childish to say that an inflatable purple is a work of art just because put on display in front of St. George ....

if my photo makes you sick ... you do not like switching back ...

I never said that it sucks your photo, certainly not ever would hang on the wall of my studio ;-) .... I left out technical commentsbecause there were not needed: the shot is correctly exposed, technically simple to perform (enough to wait for the sunset and ships that did not pass) and not in the original composition (say that one captive so they could do this in many) ...

to me the ugliness that disfigure the basin of San Marco and Venice are other

brutturie the San Marco are all related to the business (and therefore also the woman of Marc Quinn) ;-)

I do not know here to criticize a work of art or junk

:-| sorry, I forgot that this is not a site where people like to talk about art, or other important issues but it is here to be gratified by the number of visitors and "Like" By the way ... I'm sorry if I made you lose time and I did not leaveato the "I Like" :-| (see, however, on the bright side: I left 3 comments ;-))

hello,
