Soggetto pregevole. Ottima nitidezza e gestione dei bianchi. Peccato per la posizione del capo (becco eccessivamente coperto)pochi centimetri più scoperto il becco ed a mio parere sarebbe stata eccezionalmente bella.
Subject valuable. Excellent sharpness and management of whites. Sergio: pensa che a me piace proprio perchè si nasconde il muso sotto l'ala quasi a volersi proteggere del fotografo... (da qui il titolo...)
Roberto: effettivamente può sembrare così ma se guardi bene la linea dell'orizzonte è quella della parte superiore del banco di leggera bruma che si vede nello sfondo, se invece guardi il filo dell'acqua questa sembra pendere a sinistra ma in realtà è la sponda del lago che essendo non parallela al fotogramma da quell'effetto... per il contrasto ho preferito privilegiare la leggibilità sul piumaggio bianco stante la luce non proprio favorevole e il forte contrasto tra le parti bianche e nere del soggetto che rendono il controllo dell'esposizione alquanto problematico...

Sergio: I like to think that just because you hide your face under the wing almost as if to protect the photographer ... (Hence the title ...)
Roberto: actually it may seem so, but if you look carefully the horizon is that of the upper bench light mist that can be seen in the background, but if you look at the water's edge this seems to be hanging on the left but it is actually the bank of the lake that it is not parallel to the frame to that effect ... for the contrast I preferred to favor readability on white plumage because the light is not really favorable and the strong contrast between the black and white of the subject that make exposure control rather problematic ... molto bello il momento colto e il soggetto, mai facile da fotografare..
malgrado la tua spiegazione lo vedo pendere anch'io..

Bella foto, bianchi perfetti, peccato il capo sia un po' troppo coperto (a mio gusto).
L'acqua pende, lo si nota dai cerchi delle ondine che partono dal soggetto.
Beautiful photos, perfect white, too bad the head is a bit 'too fair (to my taste).
The water hangs, you can see it from the circles of ripples from the subject. Bella foto, bianchi perfetti, peccato il capo sia un po' troppo coperto (a mio gusto).
