Bellocchio e Olmi, "Ricorda con Rabbia" di Osborne per la regia di Zangardi e "Ditegli sempre di sì" di De Filippo, sempre per la regia di Zangardi. L'esordio nel cinema risale al 1965 con I pugni in tasca di Marco Bellocchio, regista per cui lavora anche ne La Cina è vicina (1967), Marcia Trionfale (1976), Nel nome del Padre (1972), Vacanze in Val Trebbia (1978), Le Sorelle (1999), Ofelia (2000), L'ora di religione (2001), Sorelle (2006). Tra gli altri film che lo vedono protagonista ricordiamo I Re Magi (1998) e Killer Gamp (1999) di F. Palladino, Halien di Magarò (2001), Homo Tauriglia (2001) di A. Pescetta. Nel 2011 interpreta Gianni, l'amico di famiglia in Sorelle mai di Marco Bellocchio.
