I find good composition but leaves me a bit 'puzzled the surrender of PP .... in my opinion, there is too much the contour and the flower really does seem to be almost a very elaborate photo art ....
In my opinion the idea and the subject are worth a further attempt to shoot.

@ Michelle: You maybe I exaggerated giving too much sharpness and a little 'too much contrast, the shot was not perfect, but I liked this particular flower and tried to bring out the best possible and this is the result.
