1/1600 ISO 400, hand held. Brindisi di Montagna, Italy. Specie: Aquila chrysaetos

Aquila reale... matrix version!!! - Nikon D3100, obiettivo Nikon 55-300 VR @ 110 mm, ISO 400, 1/1600 sec, F 8, modo di messa a fuoco AF-C, VR ON, esposizione -0.7 EV, scatto a mano libera.

A good introduction .... The only flaw of this photo is the exposure, you have not considered that the raptor has a dark plumage and darker instead of pp was preferable not to underexpose. You also have another option being Nikonist: use the d-lighting on low or medium that helps both the high and low lights.
Pui considering the leaden day I like the soft colors, the composition elo background set. hello and good light, laurel

Thank you ElleEmme passage and useful information that you have given me, for example I did not know there was this d-lighting, now I have documented and henceforth use him in critical situations such as these ;) Despite the problems of exposure, I'm glad that roughly the photo you like, for me it is a great satisfaction! Thanks again for the advice ;)

D-Lightning is and in backlit situations and generally "difficult" is a godsend ;-)

I like soft but maybe a little too soft ... I would give a curvatina S contrast. composition ok, little noise, a golden eagle golden eagle is always ... well done. :-)

Thanks Dex I'm glad you enjoyed, I'll try to give her a aggiustatina to make it less soft and see what comes out ;-)
