grazie
davide

hello, I wanted to ask info ... I noticed that in some shots, made with 6d and 2.0x, there is a lot of noise in the shot ... is due to what? to the multiplier, iso high or something?
because I have a 5D3, and I do with my animals and birdlife 400mm, which is a bit short, and I thought to take a 1.4x or 2x ...
I do not know if I saw instead degrade images ... very beautiful shots made with 1d3.
thanks
david

Ciao

Michele

Hello David, unfortunately it is a set of factors: the multiplier reduces the image quality, makes losing 2 stops of brightness, and imposes higher ISO to get decent time of shooting. Considering that the light conditions for taking pictures of ungulates are usually unfavorable ........... voila! But alas, it is the only way "cheap" to get to 600mm without having to sell a kidney or risk divorce. On 1d3 speech, relies heavily on having a sensor less dense and therefore much more tolerant, albeit with a lower resistance to iso.
These are obviously my impressions.
Hello

Michele
