Ho ripescato dal mio Hard-disk questo scatto documentaristico. La tragedia si è consumata in pochissimi istanti, inutile la reazione dei genitori della piccola folaga.
Sono rimasti con un piccolo da accudire che per sua fortuna era ben nascosto nel canneto (si intravede appena il becco a c.a. 1 metro da loro). Ciò che mi ha sorpreso è stata l"azione ultra rapida del gabbiano con un passaggio aereo che sembrava casuale ... Un opportunista patentato.
Il gabbiano è un predatore che si comporta come un rapace e nella sua dieta include vertebrati e invertebrati , acquatici e terrestri . Alcune volte, se si fa attenzione, va a caccia di uova che lancia più volte verso terra x romperle e cibarsene e a caccia di pulcini nei nidi o come in questo caso di piccoli ancora inermi.
Il becco ricurvo verso il basso è una caratteristica condivisa proprio dai rapaci più conosciuti.. Essendo poi lungo e robusto e provvisto all'estremità di un piccolo uncino gli permette di penetrare e smembrare
I fished out my hard-disk shooting this documentary. The tragedy is consumed in a few moments, unnecessary reaction of the parents of the little coot.
They were a little to care for his fortune was well hidden in the reeds (you can see just the beak at about one meter from them). What surprised me was the "ultra rapid action of the seagull with a passing plane that seemed random ... A patented opportunist.
The Seagull is a predator that acts like a bird of prey and its diet includes vertebrates and invertebrates, aquatic and terrestrial. Sometimes, if you pay attention, go hunting for eggs that runs several times to break ground x and hunt and feed on chicks in nests or as in this case of small yet helpless.
The curved beak down is a characteristic shared by their prey best known .. Hai colto un momento molto particolare e... ho purtroppo cambiato un pò opinione sui gabbiani quando li ho visti attentare ad un uovo di pinguini in Sud Africa  anche se so che è normale istinto e natura, ecc. ecc.
You've got a very special moment and ... I have unfortunately changed a little opinion on seagulls when I saw them attempt an egg of penguins in South Africa ;-) although I know it is normal instinct and nature, etc.. etc.. Grazie del passaggio e commento Franco Giannattasio , lieto che ti sia piaciuta . Aiuta molto la reattività visiva per precedere un evento , un movimento nella scena anche se periferico a livelli di Predator vs Alien  . Se riflettiamo, Franco, solo registrando le variazioni di una scena o anticipando un evento abbiamo maggior tempo di reazione fotografica .. a volte il soggetto si posa e riparte da un posatoio in un tempo talmente rapido che rimango stupito di non averlo immortalato pur essendo certo della mia prontezza di riflessi ma il ritardo esiste dato che non siamo macchine ma umani . ciao e buona luce, lauro

It helps the visual responsiveness to precede an event, a motion in the scene, even if peripheral levels vs Predator Alien 8-). If we reflect, Franco, recording only the changes in a scene or in anticipation of an event we have more reaction time camera .. Sometimes the subject is laying and starts from a perch in a time so fast that I'm amazed he had not captured even though some of my reflexes but the delay exists because we are not machines but human. hello and good light, laurel
