Guardando queste tue foto a pellicola mi rendo conto come sono così indietro nel campo fotografico! Sorry

Looking at these pictures in your film, I realize as I am so far behind in the field of photography! :-|

In your opinion, are still around this equipment with its films?

Ciao e sempre grazie

I did not understand what you mean by being back in the field of photography. In what way?
Sure, there's a very healthy market of equipment to film, especially medium or large format, there are a sea of ??websites for buying and selling stuff, look for example Newoldcamera of Milan, famous in Italy, run by a very nice highly competent and former Japanese content, Watanabe said Wata, came to Italy a long time ago to specialize in singing and then left to do something completely different. Look, there are landscapers, for example, Michael Fatali, Marc Adamus etc. that snap even with large optical benches, with unique slabs which then develop individually. If you see yourself Fatali, your site is fantastic of course, digital is priceless for convenience, speed and then full-frame cameras today have a quality ccezionale. Although well-known landscape painters, such as Hans Strand, using Hasselblad Digital 50 MP judged insufficient because the quality of SLR (lately he says to use also, sometimes, the D800 from 36 MPche would approach to quality to medioformato). Now from this picture (which I'm glad you like it) does not show the real quality, this was taken with the Mamiya 7, a 6x7 format (imagine that just makes a roll of film with 10 photos 120) rangefinder, but very similar in dimensions a professional digital today. Scanning with Epson4990. The problem is that you do not see the real quality for the reduction made to put it on the site. Imagine scanning 4000dpi generates files from 250-300 MBOvviamente is all too uncomfortable, difficult to manage, but you can make prints as large as sheets photo quality without perdere details: unfortunately this is not apparent from the photo posted. So now I use it very little. Hello and thanks again

Ciao

I did not understand what you mean by being back in the field of photography. In what way?
in the sense that I approached pretty much just 2 years ago to the reflex system (Aps-c), but things to discover and learn (like everything that you said in your response) are still very much! :-)

unfortunately this is not apparent from the photo posted. So today I use very little
I understand, it would be nice to see and touch the original photo scanned!
Congratulations again and thanks for the info!

to be one that began two years ago, you are really good, nothing to say, it is clear that you also have a "passionaccia" for photography. I, even, are many years that I take pictures (even if, for reasons of work, so rather fickle) I had never assessed the importance of a site like Juza; instead, I have to admit that it is nice to be able to talk and discuss with others . Every now and then I do some competition (again inconsistently). Lately I've won a subscription to All photographers, some cup, but I think it's almost more satisfying to watch what others are doing and confront more directly. OPRA want to relate to your photos, going back now. You gave a look at my gallery SNOW?

I gave a first look: from photos you've made me want to visit them these regions of Northern France!

I was on the opposite side in Cornwall, where there is something similar (Mount St. Michael) on the south coast ... I'll have to learn French ;-)

hello and thank you for the comparison, but mostly compliments for jobs and competitions!

Yes, I saw Claudio Mamiya 7 rangefinder, a big performance on film, but then everything changed. I love it.

Ciao e grazie

I know, things are always changing. But, despite having enjoyed the past (think my first SLR was a Canon FTb), it is fair to always look ahead. Hello and thank you

Really great machine and very handy the Mamiya. But the digital is too comfortable and when taken from D800 was sold
