Calcolando che esistono circa 80 specie di Kingfishers (Alcedinidae)non vedo perchè i colori non siano probabili.
Puoi indicarci il luogo di ripresa Bubba21?
In ambiente controllato?
Buona la maf e le cromie, forse un pò morbido ma presumo che sia dovuto al forte crop. Punto di ripresa e composizione o.k.
Valuta in futuro l'acquisto di un extender nikon 1.7x ciao e buona luce, lauro

La foto l'ho scattata durante una crociera all'alba sul Yellow Water, un fiume nel parco nazionale del Kakadu a sud di Darwin (Australia), un luogo spettacolare!
Sto pensando seriamente di acquistare il nikon 1.7, in effetti mi sarebbe tornato utile in molte occasioni, solo il prezzo mi blocca un attimo in questo periodo un po' difficile.

The photos I have taken during a cruise on Yellow Water dawn, a river in Kakadu National Park south of Darwin (Australia), a spectacular place!
I'm seriously thinking of buying the nikon 1.7, in fact I would have come in handy on many occasions, only the price stops me for a moment at this time a bit 'difficult.

o.t.Intanto valuta il validissimo extender 1.4x kenko pro 300 dgx che lo trovi ad un prezzo ragionevole di 160 euro c.a. Per la specie da te fotografata ho difficoltà ad individuarla ma non mollo

Sono stato sulle yellow water quando ancora non ero appassionato di fotografia e confermo che i colori sono proprio quelli. Le yellow water sono una zona paludosa nel Kakadu National Park, sono infestate dai coccodrilli e sono letteralmente invase da avifauna di tutti i tipi. Tornando alla foto la considero un buon documento

Dovrebbe essere un Azure Kingfisher(Alcedo azurea).
Se inserisci [NO_ID] nella descrizione l'immagine appare anche nella sezione "Galleria Animali e Piante non Identificate".

a vederla in miniatura sembrava un martino strapasticciato in pp, ma una volta aperta ho capito che non era cosi!
un'ottima cattura e un'ottimo documento, è un martino simile al nostro in forma e dimensioni ma con un colore diverso
luce pessima ma cmq è molto nitida sull'occhio ;) complimenti

Djluca83, ti ringrazio per il commento! ..Sono alle prime armi e sicuramente potrei fare molto meglio per quanto riguarda il post produzione,, mi rendo conto che non sono neancora in grado di "controllarmi" bene e c'è sempre il rischio di esagerare falsando i colori
Purtroppo eravamo abbastanza lontani dall'animale con il battello (stava su una pianta in riva al fiume) e ho dovuto croppare abbastanza, ma sono abbastanza soddisfatto del risultato dai!

Djluca83, I thank you for the comment! .. I'm a beginner and I could certainly do much better with regard to post-production, I realize that they are not neancora able to "check up" well and there is always the risk of exaggerating distorting the colors :-)
Unfortunately we were far enough away from the animal by boat (he was on a plant by the river) and I had to crop enough, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result from! Filippo Rocca, grazie!
