d'accordo su tutto e sulla tua idea descritta.
solo un consiglio, nell'ottica del tuo obiettivo, avrei fatto mettere il soggetto nella parte più sfocata e più bianca. si sarebbe cntrappostao dall'altro lato alla colonna più a fuoco senza coprirla mentre lui, il soggetto, si sarebbe staccato meglio (sulla colonna sfocata dalla PDC e più chiara) e sarebbe sembrato ancora piu materico (magari cercando qualche "nero" in più).

just a suggestion, in view of your goal, I would have put the subject in the most blurry and whiter. would cntrappostao the other hand most column without covering fire while he, the subject, you would be better off (column blurred the PDC and lighter) and it would have seemed even more material (maybe trying some "black" more) .
