1/1000 f/11.0, ISO 800, Specie: Ardea cinerea

E 'clear the little sharpness of the subject's head, due undoubtedly from the distance, from the use of the multiplier and, presumably, resulting crop applied. Not having the shutter speed can not be understood if the sharpness was also influenced by any blur. The composition is, for the rest of the light also not helped you.

Let's say the technical aspect the photo has some flaws, especially the lack of sharpness due to the great distance and the coupling does not exactly lend itself to this kind of pictures with the Tamron 2x 70-200.Un advice I could give for this type Photos, would be to attrezzarti at least to begin with a focal length of 300mm, maybe fixed so you can also assign the moltiplicatore.Se instead the budget does not allow it, there are many alternatives, such as zoom from Sigma (120-400 0 150-500) ... just to stay under 1000 bucks.

You'll see that the next will be better.
The herons are subject fairly easy to approach, the results will come with time;-D
For the equipment, the study would estimate a canon 2xIII that according to some, associated with your goal, it is miraculous (and therefore results absolutely comparable to the various sigmoni). If you are lucky enough to find it used, it would cost you half a sigma and would go around with a single lens.

Thank you all guys!
I've noticed that the tamron is not a monster .... but turning a bit '(and I closed it on purpose to f11), things improve a lot ... sharpness do not know why but dropped a lot once it loads the picture (reduce it to 380 kb is not easy, maybe put in verticlae cropped and less reduced). Maybe before you spend more dindini for a genre that I do not often try to approach some 'next time! ;-)

I uploaded a version a little 'less resampled, and maybe a little better ....

I think the distance at which I was influenced a lot ... I admire beautiful photos that I imagine have been taken from a few meters .....
Thanks for the tips!!

I would change before changing lens multiplier:-D
Who owns the 70-200 produces large files even duplicate, but a duplicator tamron gives me some doubts ...

Welcome to the tunnel photo to animals :-) Your goal certainly will not be long, but multiplied is a bomb and is more than enough, now the hard part will make subjects appear closer. I suggest you immediately the use of a shed skillfully positioned much better results and then sit and watch the animals when they do not perceive of you is always a thrill priceless. hello

With these additional tips! The next time I posizionerò better, this seems like a must! For this picture I used the 7D, but although it has less power magnification, very nearly to the next chance I take even the 5dmk2, and as clean image is another thing ....

My advice? forgotten the tamron 2x and 2x test the canon. The loss of detail is too obvious ... let's say the subject is mushy. If you want higher quality you must think of a view as photo hunt dedicated to the 120-300mm sigma 2.8 or the canon 400mm f.5, 6, which can also be used with extender 1.4x mf ;-)
