Mi sono appassionato alla fotografia perchè avevo bisogno di 'capire' il bello. Negli anni, il mio (già di per se non dotato) spirito artistico si era atrofizzato. Per come sono i forum di fotografia, la ricerca del bello è stata sostituita dalla chiacchiera sul 'tecnico'. Insomma mi sono accorto di affrontare quest'arte con lo stesso spirito con cui smonto un pc o chiacchiero con il carrozziere. Stavo quasi per lasciare l'hobby. Poi arriva questa iniziativa... essa mi consente di tornare a 'gonfiare' il palloncino della mia sensibilità e riaddrizzare il tiro su quello che voglio che sia: uno svago della mente ed una palestra dell'anima.
