Row row row the boat?? sent on September 13, 2013 (9:27) by Bzanna3. 20 comments, 2328 views.

, 1/4 f/4.0, ISO 200, hand held. Amsterdam, Netherlands.

24mm #Panning #UrbanLife #Barche #Ships

I really like the subject and so are the colors, the light and photographic yield overall. I'm not a great expert, but I think if it was possible to obtain a string of more definition and less "rough" regarding the boat and its occupants would have been beneficial overall.

Thanks Francesca, I agree with you, in fact I had already shown that he exaggerated with the long time. Speeding it up a bit 'I would have achieved greater clarity of the boat and its occupants. Unfortunately I could not do other decent shots, you see the boat was about to go under the bridge and I had not set up the shot on the volley. Mea culpa :-|
It will mean that I must return to Amsterdam:-P better to redo this shot after the other that I still eat my hands to get it completely wrong (and to think that the reflex to look at the screen looked good, however is not recoverable, I completely missed the focus) :-(

I understand you very well. When traveling there is never satisfied to photograph, but then if there is a photo that was dear in the time of shooting a landscape or a representation that has "spoken in" pushing us to capture it and take it away can not as we would have liked, as we had seen with the inner eye of creativity and emotion, then they suffer! Your photo is still a good document and, if you must, fortunately Amsterdam is not so far away! Hello, Francesca

I've probably exaggerated with the long time, but the result I do not mind
I'm not an expert on panning, but I think exactly like you. Hello

"
if you must, fortunately Amsterdam is not so far
" it takes a minimum of 2 days of travel to go back and 2, in the camper, means by which usually travel. Unfortunately, you can not go back any time soon ;-)

Thanks George for the ride.

Despite the characters moved I find it a very pleasant and original panning. It is not the usual boat and maybe this is more difficult to achieve ;-)

Thank you all for the ride.
@ Maia more than anything else the point of recovery did not help much, I was obviously higher than the boat, so to be able to focus all its width is much more difficult. By accident I focused on the guy at the helm, the other resting on the reel and one with a black t-shirt. :-D

there are subjects perfectly legible
