Ciao, sarebbe una buona foto se... il martino non fosse girato dall'altra parte 
Generalmente se si riprende un soggetto animale non rivolto verso di noi o non parallelo al sensore, deve esserci un motivo, come ad esempio un atteggiamento particolare, un moto verso qualcosa ecc.. altrimenti perde gran parte del fascino a partire dall'occhio che risulta buio e poco visibile.
Detto questo, anche la luce mi sembra un po' dura

Generally if you shoot a subject animal is not directed towards us or not parallel to the sensor, there must be a reason, such as a particular attitude, a movement towards something etc. .. otherwise it loses much of the charm from the eye that is dark and barely visible.
That said, even the light seems a bit 'hard 8-)

Concordo con Alemat!
Al momento dello scatto la direzione del capo era ruotata dalla parte opposta a quella migliore!
Nelle situazioni statiche (non so se questa lo era ovvero se è stato posato gli istanti necessari) conviene concentrarsi sull'occhio attendendo che il capo sia ruotato nel verso giusto e l'occhio stesso risulti (se la situazione lo consente) illuminato a dovere (catchlight).
