Very beautiful and that tells something, I'm not a lover of shots like that, but I really like the moment caught, empty beach sun beating down, and the character that mirrors the title, just the proportion of top of the line dell'orizonte, I might have cloned the cloud in the upper left half cut in the frame.
But then again not one who understands much so take it with pliers this comment ;-)

ps now, expect macro:-D

Grazie Vito!
A quel punto rifletti...molto.

Grazie x averla vista e commentata.
Ciao
Clara

Thanks Vito!
When I went to Lampedusa was just the hot period of the landings. I saw several carts piled sea and I could talk to some immigrant who told me his story.
At that point, think, ... a lot.

In qs x photo the conditions were difficult because of the light (at that intense). I was standing on the rock overlooking how much this man has passed quickly and left.
His face can not be seen because it was dark and intense light, but I liked the contrast with the sea and the meaning of the photo.
Thanks x have seen it and commented.

(+ polarizzatore)
ciao
Clara

thanks Agroberto ... yes, the strong light did not help me, but I also think that has made the colors even more beautiful

I would say very well managed, thanks to the contrast between the beauty of the place and the difficult path of the seller. A photo that hides deep meanings .... good, very good light good sometimes not 'everything ;-)

Ciao, Siro.

Beautiful colors, as always in the frame, Clara, shame about the face of the protagonist is not readable but you could not do better, considering the conditions and the direction of light. Hello, Siro.

Struggente. Ciao, Giorgio

If the face is not seen, it is evident however perfectly the mood of the person, pensive look on the ground and not to admire the beautiful scenery, which obviously was not there for him. Poignant. Hello, George

Oh man, I live in Lampedusa ... pity we did not knew you were coming ... we would have made an exit camera together!

Beautiful shot! I've been to sea just this afternoon and spent some walking, and I was just thinking to their stories .. although I doubt that the ones you see on the beaches are landed here (or at least not recently).

The barges piled next to the field there are always, it is the graveyard of the boats .. every now and then is a barge portarsene by someone. I always promised myself entrar there to take pictures but then I never did ... also because to go out only in the place where I live I can not ever feel like ..

Guidoz...che bello...sei di Lampedusa!!!

Vai a documentare...sei lì....
Clara

Guidoz ... you ... you're beautiful island of Lampedusa!

Go to document ... you're there ....
I had taken pictures of the old tramp steamers. I was impressed because, looking at them, I wondered, "How did they get here!" Only seeing you realize that it's all true!
A big hello.
Clara

" Guidoz...che bello...sei di Lampedusa!!! "

no, aspetta... non offendiamo... Ci vivo, per il momento! MrGreen

Lo so, dovrei andare ma sai come funziona no?

Guidoz ... how nice ... six of Lampedusa!

no, wait ... not offend ... I live for the moment! :-D

I know, I should go but you know how it works right? When something you've got to hand referrals all the time ...
If you review next year remember me (I suspect the summer prox'll still be here)

ciao
Clara

But you do not like to be there??
I find this wonderful island.
I came three summers ago and have been there almost a month.
Of course, if you're not there on vacation, things are different.
Enjoy and photograph all that wonderful island has to offer .... and not cheap!
hello
Clara

" Io trovo stupenda questa isola. "

ti invito a stare un mese qui in periodo invernale... MrGreen

I find this wonderful island.

I invite you to stay a month here in the winter time ... :-D
But maybe a month is fine too ... try to stay there indefinitely:-D

However when I take it well, yes, I do some shots .. but there is not much variety of landscapes unfortunately!
