Piazza San Pietro è la piazza antistante la basilica di San Pietro. Posta a margine del centro storico di Roma, la piazza fa parte della Città del Vaticano. (wikipedia) Piazza San Pietro tra luci e ombre, credo sia il posto più bello da visitare a Roma, per la maestosità del suo colonnato, per l'atmosfera all'interno della piazza, da visitare infrasettimanalmente, per evitare il caos della folla di turisti chiassosi.
