ll Polittico occupa tutta la parete di fondo dell'abside del duomo di S. Giorgio di Modica. Attribuito, inizialmente, all'Alibrandi fu, in seguito a un restauro dell'opera, attribuito a Bernardino Niger, un pittore, forse di origine greca. Composto di dieci tavole, una semicircolare e le altre che formano tre trittici rappresentanti scene della vita di Gesù, di San Giorgio e di San Martino, con cornici riccamente dorate, il polittico è del 1513.

a me non convince molto per i seguenti motivi: tempi di scatto al limite, elementi tagliati (vaso sul bordo inferiore e base del candelabro e del leggio in quello sinistro), bianchi bruciati sulla finestra in alto e il leggio che si sovrappone al polittico...

in queste situazioni l'ideale sarebbe avere un treppiede per comporre al meglio e fare un hdr....
