oh slut scoop! a mentawai!

is a piece that I put in the viewfinder to take pictures of Siberut mentawai, I just thought: "there is no hurry, so there is almost no one." and instead must hurry ...
with this shot of come right in the list of photographers who keep monitored.

beautiful maf selective for a fabulous subject. I see that at f / 3,2 ISO400 and you took a 1/500, I thought worse, it was less light between clouds and forest (ok, with 1.4 50ino but they are also equipped with myself). particular difficulties in the photograph? If you get the inspiration for the work of joey lawrence?

Thank you all!

@ Bosphorus in reality the Mentawai there is some tourism (although Siberut all the hotels are always empty), most are Australian surfers who go to nearby beaches to take advantage of high waves that beat these shores, but a small slice ventures into the forest as I did.
In the photo the light conditions were sufficient, we were in an open space, but mostly there was to put his hands in her hair ... even when there was light was very bad, very cold and hard.
The difficulty I had with the light and with a pig that was about to eat my D700 ..
