Vedere e fotografare il leopardo è stato il nostro principale obiettivo di viaggio . Nello Yala N.P. ce ne sono 45 ed è abbastanza facile incontrarli anche se non sono mai vicini e spesso nascosti tra gli alberi o nel bush .Dopo tre giorni di safari nel parco abbiamo avuto modo di vederli 3 volte ma sempre infotografabili per la distanza ed anche per il gran disturbo di jeep e turisti che una volta individuato l'esemplare si accalcano per vederli . Un pomeriggio , mentre il sole stava calando , la caparbietà della nostra guida e del nostro autista , oltre alla loro grande conoscenza ed esperienza , ci hanno consentito , da soli, di incontrare questo maschio che stava marcando il territorio .Ci siamo fermati ad osservarlo e lui per niente intimorito ha continuato per la sua strada e ci è passato accanto alla jeep , quasi a portata di braccio.Il sole era appena calato e questa è la migliore immagine che sono riuscito ad ottenere di una sequenza di almeno 50 scatti più o meno a fuoco ( era praticamente buio) , più o meno confusi dagli arbusti del bush . Comunque , per essere fatta a 5000 ISO e senza nessun intervento di riduzione di rumore , mi sembra un bel risultato . Commenti e critiche sempre ben accetti.
