, tripod. Kurile Lake, Russia.

La luce, tranne due giorni è sempre stata intensa, tanto da creare anche problemi di ombre eccessive. Presto il mattino e tardi il pomeriggio erano le ore migliori per fotografare.Il periodo scelto è risultato quello giusto. Bella esperienza fotografica.

Cutting detail and light for a great document, but that makes the photo for me is the eye of the salmon.

Thank you all for the ride. Mark your question deserves a detailed answer and it is the same place that I have to Rino, Canadian bear guides that I have known in Kamchatka and with whom I shared many topics. Rino was for several years assistant Charlie Russell, the man who lived with the bears in Kamchatka and them is an institution. Rino has seen and regularly visit all the places in the world for the bear and told me that prefers kamchatka because there are still places undiscovered by man, where the bear lives sovereign.
The Kamchatka is still a destination young wild and free tourist consolidated mechanisms and legislation to protect the territory that works quite a few years. Putin has visited recently and has allocated new funds for its protection.
Photographically speaking I've only explored some of the possible scenarios.Since the beginning of the period of salmon rivers stopped them, but I have yet to discover the part of scenarios within small rivers, with a background of more green and not with the classic lake.
I am still fond of Alaska and I remain mostly unknown sides to visit.
What I liked in Kamchatka is the freedom of movement, to the limit of minimum distance of focus of the optics. Sometimes the little bear there and were perceived as a security for us to escape the big male approaching. Often we had to remove the bear for not doing so accustom trioppo in such close proximity. Rino came to simulate a caress. For the next year I did a self assignement most complete to be able to take back what I could not resume this year, due to ignorance of certain aspects discovered in itinere. I will return soon, however, also in Alaska, I have friends and we're talking about a wonderful territory.
hello
Marco
