Grazie mille Cesare, stavo fotografando questi esemplari di Beccacce di mare che erano fermi su dei sassi in una baia, a Renvyle, nel Connemara, in Irlanda. Mi stavo avvicinando molto lentamente per fare un bello scatto col tele (alcuni li ho fatti ma non molto ravvicinati... volevo osare di più!) quando ad un certo punto mi hanno visto e sono partiti in volo verso uno scoglio poco distante ma in mezzo al mare... e così li ho presi al volo mentre viravano... e mi piace molto anche così, è un bel risultato perchè c'è un bel gioco geometrico tra il volo obliquo degli uccelli e lo sfondo a linee orizzontali. Poi i colori delle ali hanno un bel contrasto cromatico, quindi sono stato soddisfatto di questo scatto veloce, sebbene stessi cercando di fare un altro genere di foto... A volte capita così, inaspettato... Carpe diem!

Thank you very much Caesar, I was photographing these specimens of Oystercatchers who were standing on the rocks in a bay, in Renvyle in Connemara, Ireland. I was approaching very slowly to make a good shot with the tele (some I made them but not very close together ... I wanted to be more daring!) When at one point they saw me and they started flying towards a rock not far away but in middle of the sea ... and so I took them on the fly while banked ... and I really like even so, is quite an achievement because there is a nice geometric game between the oblique flight of birds and the background in horizontal lines. Then the color of the wings have a nice color contrast, so I was happy with this quick shot, even though I was trying to do a different kind of pictures ... Sometimes it happens so unexpected ... Carpe diem!

Senza voler fare polemiche ma solo per dire come la penso, secondo me non e' una bella foto. Li hai fatti scappare e di conseguenza li hai solo potuto fotografare di c...o, forse con piu' calma e pazienza se invece di farli involare avessi aspettato e capito la loro distanza di fuga avresti avuto un occasione migliore e la foto ne avrebbe guadagnato. Ciao

Ciao Marco, beh come darti torto... del resto sono stato proprio io ad ammettere che li ho fatti scappare a causa del mio "osare" avvicinarmi di più... comunque ho fatto anche delle foto diverse, con maggiori dettagli delle beccacce, tuttavia questo scatto personalmente mi piace, perché gli uccelli in volo vanno a comporre una bella coreografia mentre virano all'unisono.

Hello Mark, as well blame you ... the rest have been I admit that I made them run away because of my "dare" to get closer ... however, I also did some different photos, with details of the woodcock, but I personally like this shot, because the birds in flight compose a beautiful choreography while they turn in unison.
