Il formicaleone nella prima parte della sua vita è una larva che vive nascosta sotto la sabbia. Scava delle buche e rimane in attesa nascosta che passi qualche preda (ad esempio formiche). Quando il malcapitato passa dove lui si trova incomincia a tirare con un'incredibile rapidità i granelli di sabbia che stordiscono e disorientano la preda la quale non riesce più a risalire la buca e viene trascinata sotto la sabbia. Questo famelico esserino lo abbiamo soprannominato "Harvey" come il coniglio bianco invisibile del famoso film di James Stewart. E' difficilissimo da vedere sia per il mimetismo, sia per le ridottissime dimensioni sia per le sue abitudini che lo portano a non uscire mai dal suo buco. The ant in the first part of his life is a worm that lives hidden in the sand. Dig the hole and waits for prey hidden steps (eg ants). When the victim goes where he is beginning to pull an incredible speed as the grains of sand that stun and disorient prey which is no longer able to move up the hole and is dragged under the sand. This ravenous creature we nicknamed "Harvey" as the white rabbit invisible to the famous James Stewart. It 'very difficult to see and for camouflage, both for their small size and to the habits that lead him to never get out of his hole. Ci hai dato molto con questo scatto ma soprattutto con il filmato a corredo. Conoscere qualcosa di nuovo e soggetti nuovi è una linfa per quest'hobby. La foto è come sempre ben realizzata e molto esemplificativa, complimenti allora per tutto!

La difficoltà stà nel riuscire a scattare prima che si nasconda sotto la sabbia. Si hanno veramente pochi secondi a disposizione Ciao :)
