Come consuetudine esco da casa alle 19,30...ho capito che gli animali escono dal bosco verso le 20 addentrandosi timidamente nelle radure per cibarsi dell'erba che con le recenti piogge continua a mantenersi tenera. Cerco sempre di arrivare più tardi possibile, attendere per ore a parer mio serve solo a far espandere il proprio odore in tutta la zona, l'incontro, se ci sarà, deve essere sincrono. Infatti, salgo un prato adiacente a quello di mio interesse, li divide un fosso ormai secco la cui sponda culmina in un felciao, mi apposto lì, il prato è in discesa e posizionarmi nella parte alta col vento in faccia mi permette di assumere una posizione simile a quella che otterrei stando su un'altana. Il tempo di allestire il treppiede con la rete mimetica e l'aggiunta di qualche felce, niente di che, cerco sempre di essere il capanno di me stesso, non creo silohuette ma piuttosto confondo la mia sagoma con un ciglio, un albero o simili; mi volto a destra e vedo arrivare un cinghialotto di una trentina di chili chea ra il campo nella parte bassa dell'immenso prato a circa 70 metri da me. Passa un minuto e sento un fruscìo alle mie spalle, penso, stanno arrivando altri cinghiali, mi volto lentamente a sinistra e con la coda dell'occhio lo vedo arrivare - è lui....a trenta metri da me...sta puntando la preda. Un brivido mi percorre la schiena, scatto o non scatto, che faccio, si siede ad osservare il cinghiale, si alza nuovamente, accenna una corsetta, a questo punto per timore di perderlo sparo una raffichetta di scatti e lui si volta verso di me, ma solo per il rumore, si concentra nuovamente sulla preda limitandosi ad osservare da che parte può portare il suo attacco senza esser scorto attraversando il prato, putroppo sceglie d farlo scartando a destra attraversando il felciao...dico purtroppo perchè il felciaio è quell oin cui sono appostato io !!! Inizio a veder muovere le felci in segno inequivocabile che sta tracciando il passaggio degli animali che ho utilizzato anch'io per giungere lì dalla parte opposta - ormai è a 15 metri da me, sbuca legegrmente in una piccola radura e gli scatto questa foto, dentro il tele a quella distanza i suoi occhi mi penetrano, è evidente che non mi ha fiutato ne scorto e procede verso il suo obiettivo, io sarei solo un intralcio...non mi resta che sollevarmi e fare rumore per spaventarlo prima che la distanza sia a rischio....è arrvato a 10 metri....roba da non credere !! Con un balzo indietro in un secondo è nuovamente in mezzo al prato, ma non mi ha visto, guarda verso di me, fugge, si ferma, non mi volta mai le spalle, si allontana un pò...e poi si siede nuovamente a guardare la sua preda ( di questa fase ho il video ). A questo punto sceglie la seconda alternativa di avvicinamento, una cerreta a margine del grande prato, lo vedo uscire a circa 100 metri, è comunque nervoso, un paio di sobbalzi quasi ingiustificati ne tradiscono lo stato d'animo, il cinghiale è scomparso...scompare alla mia vista anche lui. Provo un senso di rammarico al pensiero di avergli rovinato la caccia, certo non potevo pensare che potesse svilupparsi così. Adesso, momento in cui probabilmente deve pensare a cacciare per sè e per la femmina che accudisce i piccoli, devo venire più raramente.
