Spectacular, I would have only given a further cut panoramic still including the glacier on the left.

In fact that was the initial idea. This is the result of the union of two photos Vertical. The glacier was spinning a lot and I seem to remember that on the left there was a disturbance .. I try to take a look in the archive. Thanks Fabius!

Bellissimo! when I saw I had your same feelings of helplessness almost in front of this monster, you would have had to be more to the left, but that's fine too, you can enjoy the corollary of the peaks.

Very nice idea to combine two shots vertical. I'd like to see it on SNL.

spectacular, beautiful curve of the glacier. To me is curious to see how it continues the glacier on the left, but a fota that arouses curiosity is a good photo and neccessariamente not have to show all

Thank you all for the kind words (although there have been many for Aletsch:-D). For those interested in the rise is not too demanding. Starting from Fiesh you get to share with a cable car.
With a gear next 4/5 hours then you get to the edge on the bottom right near the pond. During the journey you can see another glacier, the "Glacier Fiescher"

that as the Aletsch comes from Gross Grünhorn .. . The walk worth it. Advice for dinner then a nice Rosti Potato and bacon 8-)

For Mark, you see low-contrast from home?

Beautiful photos and good composition. Even better I would see a little 'sharper especially in the mountains in front while the first floor is ok.
