Mi sembra tu abbia ottenuto un buon compromesso tra nitidezza del soggetto e presenza dello sfondo. L'uso di un diaframma più chiuso avrebbe maggiormente messo in evidenza il fogliame.....queste però sono scelte dell'autore.
Personalmente avrei compensato un po' l'esposizione perchè trovo un pelo alta la luminosità. In definitiva considerando il non facile soggetto e la sua posizione direi che hai concluso un buon lavoro.
It seems to me you've got a good compromise between sharpness of the subject with the background. The use of a smaller aperture would further highlighted the foliage ..... but these are choices of the author.
Personally I would have compensated a little 'exposure because I find a hair high brightness. Ultimately, considering the difficult subject and his position would say that you have completed a good job.
