Mi chiedevo tuttavia se e' davvero conveniente usare una 60D CentralDS con tutto l'ambaradan di raffreddamento peltier e 1Kg di peso o prendersi direttamente una camera CCD a colori (ce ne sono di molo compatte con sensore APS) che oltretutto e' molto piu' leggera e con pu' alta QE. Non siamo li pure a livelli di prezzo?

Io amo tanto le nebulose scure quanto sono incapace di riprenderle  ... in ogni caso ci proverò sotto cieli bui con la mia nuova CCD. Vedremo cosa uscirà! Per il momento con Canon EOS 500D non raffreddata (ma modificata) ho ottenuto solo molto rumore e poco contrasto (vedi ad esempio www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=465680&l=it ).
Per la domanda di Perseus68 è una questione sempre aperta... anche io ero in dubbio tra una Canon EOS 600 CentralDS e una ATIK 383L+ B/W ed alla fine ho optato per la seconda scelta. Se devo essere sincero sono proprio contento del mio acquisto. Forse, unico suggerimento, se non si ha molta pazienza, consiglio la CCD a colori (fare immagini nei canali LRGB e una menata pazzesca!!!  )

Circa la scelta della 60d posso dirti che era già un annetto che era nella mia wish-list, preferita alle ccd colore di pari prezzo che per quello che vedevo e vedo in giro non hanno nulla di più come resa alle focali che a me piacciono, l'alternativa ci sarebbe stata (694) ma ad un prezzo doppio. Cercavo una reflex anche perchè non uso il pc nelle trasferte e cercavo un setup compatto e stand-alone...
Ho avuto la confrma l'anno scorso confrontando il crop di due immagini di M20, la mia con il babyq e la 60D e l'altra di un fsq106 e QHY 8L, riprese dallo stesso cielo, bhè nulla da invidiare i particolari erano pressochè identici, e nella mia c'era un incisione maggiore, forse per via dei pixel piccoli, ma ne sono rimasto sorpreso.
Cme ben dice Davide la ccd migliore è la mono, che necessita poi di filtri e accessori che fanno lievitare il costo e impongono sessioni fotografiche più lunghe, anche se giustamente più profonde.
Se ccd un giorno sarà, sarà mono con pregi e difetti che comporta!
Per ora mi diverto e mi faccio le ossa così, i risultati mi appagano e ancora non l'ho spremuta del tutto la bestiola.
Davide le dark sono toste per le reflex, qui sono riuscito dopo tanti smadonnamenti ad elaborarla decentemente, ed è stata una passeggiata rispetto alla LDN 673 che ho ripreso (in team dal Labro-Nwt 10"+st8300mono-C11Hyp f2+SX694Mono- fsqBaby+60D  ) e stiamo elaborando...tranquillo che con la ccd riuscirai a tirarla fuori a dovere sotto un buon cielo.
