Per un bel pò ho il sigma 120-400 all max lunghezza focale. I miei scatti, soprattutto con soggetti lontani erano sempre poco definiti.
Poi ieri ho scoperto per caso che alla massima lunghezza focale il sigma impasta tantissimo e che basta ridurre un pò il tiro per guadagnare in definizione. Certo, ho ancora problemi col micromosso, ma direi che la differenza comincia a notarsi....che ne dite?
Questo è uno dei due esemplari di airone rosso, già osservato la settimana scorsa presso la laguna di Capoterra (CA).
For quite a while I have the sigma 120-400 at max focal length. My shots, especially with distant subjects were always poorly defined.
Then yesterday I discovered by accident that the maximum focal length of the sigmoid kneads a lot and that just reduce a little the shot to gain definition. Of course, I still have problems with the shake-but I would say that the difference begins to be noticed .... what do you think?

beh, a quella distanza è facile non mettere bene a fuoco, specie gli aironi che devi focheggiarli in testa ed è facile che il fuoco vada oltre, dovresti provare con soggetti piu vicini per vedere se hai problemi di front o retro focus, senza contare la stabilità dell'attrezzatura e altro .

Concordo con Franco, con un soggetto che riempe il fotogramma potrai verificare se la tua macchina ha problemi di front o back focus.
Come misurazione della luce utilizza "misurazione spot", per la maf utilizza un unico punto (punta l'occhio), ricomponi e scatta.
Il micromosso è influenzato dal tempo di scatto, se rispetti il tempo di sicurezza (per un 400mm è pari a circa 1/640) non dovresti aver problemi.
