Grazi friends for your comment that I like very much:-P Marco .. I know well that you love alpine lakes ... ;-)
I had never been to the hill of the Little St. Bernardo and I was astonished by the wide green fields that are all around them .. Mark, if you're interested, some trails that start from there at 2200 meters where I was leading all the way up to about 3000 meters. The most famous peak is to Lancebranlette be reached in about 3 hours!
Good Sunday amici.ì :-)

Excellent composition very three-dimensional, ranging from the first floor up to the sky blue colored ...

compliments for the hike ... Piedmont (except the city of Turin visited once) is a region that I'm missing ...

best regards
raffaele

Hello Raffaele .. glad you like it .. :-) For clarification the hill of the photo is in the Aosta Valley on the border with France:-D Saturday, August 10 was a day hiking interesting and exciting for me .. From Ivrea at 5 am and at 6:30 I take the first cable car from Courmayeur to Rifugio Torino ... Dressed in mid-August as if it was in January (with a winter jacket, hat and gloves ..) I sounded weird but it was necessary given the degree that there were only 3 at the shelter at 6:45 .. Unfortunately the best light I've lost :-( I have seen the light of Mont Blanc rose just as I was by cable car and it was not possible to shoot from inside the glass having rigatissimi the cable car itself :-(
The view from up there is, however, something amazing day ever ;-) Then I took a side trip to the Little St. Bernardo (40-minute drive fromCourmayeur) where I could walk through trails as well as some shots more interesting:-D
