Nilo, lo sfondo deve essere molto lontano nel caso di farfalle di questa dimensione perche' essendo tu costretto ad allontanarti dal soggetto per farlo stare tutto nel campo inquadrato, questo e la chiusura del diaframma fa si da avere una profondita' di campo tale che lo sfondo risulta troppo presente se vicino.
Ecco il perche' di f. 5,6 e di una sfocatura ulteriore in post.

Nile, the background must be very far in the case of butterflies of this dimension because 'you being forced to move away from the subject to make it stand all in the field of view, and this makes the closing of the diaphragm to have a depth' of field such that the background if this is too close.
Here's why 'of f. 5.6 and a blur further in post. ;-)
