Milky Way Marsicana...

Milky Way Marsicana sent on August 01, 2013 (21:51) by Ipatton. 8 comments, 800 views.

at 10mm, 25 sec f/3.5, ISO 800, tripod.

#NightPhotos

Hello Mark, for being the first shot you got a good result it seems to me ;-)

If I'm not mistaken you have taken over the north part of the Milky Way that is perhaps the least interesting part of the south has more colors and a higher concentration of stars, however nice picture ;-)

Please do not write stupid things have seen the guru astro-photographers running on Juza:-D

Stephen Thanks for the ride!
Yes, you're right, the part that I have taken is to the north / north-west, the other night it seemed to me that you could see better in the south ... but I have not watched much :-| :-|
Too bad that the return in the Po Padane all this is hard to grasp.
Thank you and hello

It is virtually impossible from the plain, light pollution is awesome wow!

Anyway, never mind, in an hour's drive you can reach the Piacenza hills, from there the situation by pointing to the south greatly improves ;-)

I have reviewed the PP of this shot that I'm very fond of: even if not at the top is still my first Milky Way:-D
What do you think? To me it seems much better this version:

Hello Mark, this version looks better ... I do not notice artifacts in the foreground and the dominant purple is gone, bravo! ;-)

PS: sooner or later we will be able to go for some nice pictures to the stars! :-)

Hello Ste, thanks for the re-passage 8-)
Yes, assuming that the original raw was not that great anyway, it seems to me that this new version is much more natural!

As for the PS, I really hope so! Meanwhile, I hope to bring home some decent shooting away from the Abruzzo next week:-D
