La distorsione è corretta. Se così non fosse la croce penderebbe molto meno e dalla parte opposta.
La croce non è perpendicolare perché ho portato "dritto" l'orizzonte per evitare commenti sull'orizzonte storto quando, in realtà, sarebbero le montagne ad abbassarsi a sinistra.
Personalmente, vista la convergenza sul percorso di rocce che "guida" la foto non mi disturba, anzi, riporta indietro l'occhio.
