Goethe diceva che "Dove c'è molta luce, l'ombra è più nera", ed è vero. Ci sono anche le eclissi personali, di chi splendeva e poi, piano piano, ha cominciato a oscurarsi con un sorriso appena accennato di rassegnazione che sta nell'ombra. Questo autoritratto fa parte di un mio progetto personale che sto portando avanti da un po' di tempo. L'idea è quella di rappresentare parti del corpo umano come statue di marmo, nello specifico una testa. Sono foto fatte in casa, con una sola luce e sono volutamente sgradevoli e perturbanti (o almeno questa sarebbe l'intenzione) sul filone del concetto di Das Unheimliche di freudiana memoria. L'idea mi è nata rileggendo per l'ennesima volta alcuni romanzi di E. T. A. Hoffmann (in particolare L'uomo della sabbia)
