La dominate azzurra del cielo sovrastante il ghiaccio c’è tutta ma provando ad attenuarla mi sembrava che venisse a mancare qualche cosa… del resto il ghiaccio, a secondo del tipo, può avere diverse colorazioni: trasparente, verde, nero, azzurro… ed è così che lo ricordo. Glacier des Bossons (Monte Bianco- Versante francese) 1981 / Scatto su pellicola diapositiva / Fotocamera analogica Olympus OM -1 / Obiettivo 85 mm F/2 / Nota: il Glacier des Bossons negli anni ’80 del secolo scorso era considerato il ghiacciaio con il fronte terminale più basso delle Alpi - e ancora lo è – avendo allora toccato i circa 1200 m nella parte finale di valle sotto la spinta delle enormi masse glaciali che premevano in scivolamento da monte. Questo scatto è del settembre 1981 quando il ghiacciaio era in fase di espansione mentre oggi, da tempo, è in atto il forte continuo ritiro che conosciamo e l’area qui ripresa non sono così certo che sia agibile come appare nello scatto dove si nota la frequentazione da parte degli alpinisti a scopo didattico e di allenamento.
