La girandola di Castel Sant'Angelo è uno spettacolo pirotecnico che si svolge a Roma il 29 giugno, festa dei patroni di Roma, ma anche in altri giorni come ad esempio nella "Seconda Pasqua" (cioè il lunedì dell'Angelo) o in occasione di altri festeggiamenti. Lo spettacolo ebbe inizio il 9 agosto del 1481, in occasione del decimo anniversario dell'elevazione al soglio pontificio di Sisto IV. Secondo una tradizione, lo spettacolo sarebbe stato ideato da Michelangelo per la festa dei santi Pietro e Paolo, patroni della città di Roma e sistemato successivamente dal Bernini.
