Dopo aver fatto la Velo EST mi sono spostato un pò più ad ovest e ho fatto la Velo Ovest (NGC6960). Anche in questo caso ho integrato un'ora di idrogeno e un'ora di ossigeno con pose da 3 minuti ciascuna e infine 30 minuti di RGB (per le stelle ed il fondo cielo) con pose da 30 secondi per 2 ore e mezza totali di integrazione. Rispetto alla Velo EST la parte Ovest mette più in risalto tutti questi "filamenti" (non a caso si chiama anche "Nebulosa Filamentosa") di emissioni di idrogeno ionizzato (rosso) e ossigeno che a me piace virare sul blu mentre in realtà dovrebbe stare più su una tonalità di verde che a me non piace per niente ma come si sa l'astrofotografia è anche creativa. Naturalmente vista l'abbondanza di segnale ho spinto molto con la saturazione, senza vergogna. Tecnosky Newton Carbon Series 200 F4 con ASI2600mm su AM5n.
