The shot at the small bird is not bad, what in my opinion is not good is the clipping on the yellow color. In recovery, it would have been better to control the exposure. In post to make the image more pleasant I would decrease the brightness and saturation on that color. La ripresa al piccolo volatile non è male, quello che a mio avviso non va è il clipping sul colore giallo. In ripresa sarebbe stato da controllare meglio l'esposizione. Pigi47, there's no clipping in the picture, at least it does not show so in Lightroom, (I just dobbelt checked). And if there was or is, I don't really care about it, as this is how it looked, or close to it, in my remeberence. But I know what you mean, and I often try to avoid it, but I don't think, one should always avoid it. After all you see it a lot in nature .

Non so se Lightroom lo permette Photoshop si. Se apri il pannello Info puoi vedere i canali RGB se con un piccolo pennello lo fai scorrere sullo sfondo giallo nel canale del rosso potrai vedere valori come 255 e questo è già un clipping.

Personalmente penso sia sempre meglio evitarlo perchè si potrebbe perdere del dettaglio ad esempio su un piumaggio bianco.
