Nell'antica capitale giapponese non è raro imbattersi in turiste e turisti che noleggiano dei kimono per passeggiare tra le case in legno dei quartieri antichi e scattare qualche foto "tradizionale". Non è raro nemmeno vederli anche nelle stazioni della metropolitana (visto che spostarsi a piedi non è probabilmente comodissimo).
