La savana era immobile, sospesa in quel silenzio che precede qualcosa di indimenticabile. Poi lui è apparso. Lento, elegante, perfettamente padrone del suo mondo. Camminava nell'erba senza paura, con lo sguardo intenso di chi non ha bisogno di dimostrare nulla. Quando i suoi occhi hanno incrociato i miei, il tempo si è fermato davvero. Nessuna barriera, nessun rumore. Solo un faccia a faccia con la natura più pura, più selvaggia, più vera. E in quell'istante ho capito che certi incontri non si fotografano soltanto... si portano dentro per sempre.
