La natura da il meglio che può, sempre (e non lesina se pensa che il frutto finisce divorato da un insetto qualunque, che per quanto, rispetta di più la natura rispetto all'essere umano), non si risparmia e si presenta sempre al meglio delle proprie possibilità (l'espressione 'brutto tempo' per evidenziare un cielo piovoso, non ha mai trovato la mia approvazione).
Poi quello che tu dici è vero, non sappiamo valutare, brutto e bello (magari sostituendolo con un più ampio 'senso estetico'), dell'apprezzabile, di una persona di riguardo... e finisce tutto in una macedonia planetaria dove tutto si mescola e genera confusione.
Poi però ognuno di noi deve trovare dei punti fermi e con la scusa di postare foto in questo sito intanto iniziamo con il cogliere un'immagine anzichè un'altra con un senso del gusto tutto personale.

Non mi convince la rappresentazione fotografica che ne hai dato. Son vari i motivi: il soggetto non è il fico ma sono le mosche; il campo è strettissimo, probabilmente con una visione più di insieme avresti ottenuto l'effetto cercato. Oltremodo mi pare che l'ottica non sia adatta a scatti ravvicinati. La luce, come già ti hanno fatto notare, sarebbe stato meglio se fosse diffusa e senza i forti riflessi che la caratterizzano. La mia personale impressione è che, l'immagine, contrariamente a quanto avvenuto per la didascalia , non l'abbia progettata o pensata per questa ammirevole finalità. Senza remore devo dirti che è uno scatto da rifare con più metodo e maggiore ricercatezza. Io personalmente avrei cercato una situazione meno affollata, per il concetto che proponi è sufficiente un solo insetto o una larva.
