Percorrendo una stradina tra le risaie del vercellese, tra decine di pavoncelle e di ibis sacri, ad un certo punto a pochi metri dal bordo della strada c'era questo tarabuso completamente allo scoperto. Mi sono fermato, ho preso la macchina foto con molta calma e gli ho scattato decine di foto. Lui è rimasto impassibile ed immobile come se nulla fosse. La fiducia di questi uccelli nel proprio mimetismo è incredibile, anche quando non c'è niente con cui mimetizzarsi.
